Thanks for our team in Japan, we had the pleasure in meeting some of the local farmers in Fukuoka during our short stay in Japan.
The most rewarding of all for the trip is to have the chance in meeting a group of new generation Japanese farmers entering into organic farming. While do not have much background in farming prior, their passions and innovative ideas have created a new boost to the farming industry, demonstrating that things can be done differently.
The knowhow for farming takes years to learn and experience. It will be a huge lost to mankind if we are to let these experience vanish without continuum. For these new blood, to be able in having the chance in learning from senior experienced farmers is therefore crucial.
As per our definition, it is the combination of tradition, innovation and science in benefiting the shared environment, promoting fair relationships and good quality of life for all involved that makes organic agriculture truly organics.
