analysis on the collaborative process of developing curriculum

Previously, I would circle the room during writing time to provide feedback and reminders such as, “It’s OK to make mistakes; revisions just make us stronger writers.” That phrase did little to motivate my ELs because they never saw me modeling my own writing nor my revision process. Four educators share suggestions for creating the classroom conditions in which students want to make revisions to their writing.
